A 104 year old patent entitled "Method of Preserving the Dead" has been recently discovered.
It consists basically in encasing the human body and the severed head in big blocks of glass.
Now days we hear this and we think its ridiculous. Obviously the body needs oxygen to get preserved, but even if some of the tissue still has water it would break down at some point.
And all the rotting tissue would get stuck in the bottom of the cavity and it would give us the looks of a good old' zombie.
I would make an awesome decoration for the living room though.
